Organized from 28 to 30 November 2012 by the Agency for the Promotion of Industry and Innovation, in association with the Tunisian Union for Industry, Trade and Handicrafts (UTICA) and in collaboration with Agency for the Promotion of Foreign Investment (FIPA) and the Export Promotion Centre (CEPEX), CAT 2012 aims to be a platform dedicated to real business, where will mingle decision makers and leaders from diverse backgrounds, with their supply and demand in innovative sectors with high growth potential:

  • Technical Textiles
  • New technologies of information and communication

This event aims to:

Promote the integration of Tunisian industry in the Euro-Mediterranean economic space including through the connection to international networks of technology and innovation in order to:

  • To improve the level of integration and increase the added value of products manufactured in Tunisia to realize innovative projects with technological content.
  • Increase awareness about the advantages of Tunisian company in the areas of partnership and investment.
  • Giving more visibility to the competitiveness of Tunisia as a regional base for production and export through the pool of high expertise available and open to technology.
  • Delivering innovative projects with high technological content.
  • Demonstrate to investors from various backgrounds, Europe, Asia, America and the Arab world, that Tunisia is a privileged site offering a competitive advantage, an environment conducive to their business and a transparent regulatory framework.
  • Reduce regional differences in the valuation of resources and potential available.
